2. Use of Our Website
You may use our site for lawful purposes only. All content, including images, diagrams, product descriptions, videos and text, is protected by copyright and intellectual property law. You must not reproduce, copy, distribute or use any content commercially without written permission, including using our images or product descriptions to sell similar products. We are not responsible for any information or advice you receive outside of our official website or written documentation. We do not accept liability for verbal advice, third-party information, social media messages, installer advice, or any non-official communication. Only information published on www.claddingworld.co.uk should be relied upon.

3. Product Information & Colour Accuracy
We aim to ensure product details are accurate, but colours may vary due to lighting, manufacturing tolerances, screen settings or batch differences. Images are illustrative only, and dimensions may vary slightly. Customers must ensure the product is suitable for its intended use before installation.

3.1 Batches
Our batches change regularly, if you are ordering to match existing panels from a previous order, please contact us with photos or batch numbers so we can see if we have stock that matches.

4. Orders & Contract Formation
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase goods. A contract is formed only once we issue an order confirmation. We may decline orders for reasons including pricing errors, stock availability or security concerns.

5. Pricing & Payment
Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise. If a pricing error is discovered after you place an order, we will inform you and you may choose to continue at the corrected price or cancel. Goods are dispatched only once payment is received in full.

6. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, access issues, or project-related costs such as installer fees, scaffolding or missed appointments. If you request goods to be left without a signature, responsibility transfers immediately and no damage claims can be accepted. If delivery fails due to access problems or no receiver present, redelivery charges may apply. Delivery is available within the UK unless otherwise agreed.

7. Inspection of Goods & Damage Claims
You must inspect all goods at the point of delivery.

7.1 Signing for Goods
If the delivery note is signed as “checked”, “good condition” or similar wording, we cannot accept any later damage claim, as the signature confirms the goods were delivered undamaged.

7.2 Visible Damage
If damage is visible upon delivery, you must clearly note the damage on the delivery note or courier device, photograph both goods and packaging, and notify us within 24 hours. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the claim by the carrier, and we cannot accept liability.

7.3 Concealed Damage (Where Packaging Appears Intact)
You must inspect all goods before signing for the delivery, including opening packaging where reasonably possible to check the full condition of the items. If the courier does not allow full inspection, you must sign the delivery note as “unchecked – possible damage”. If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, you must report it within 24 hours, provide clear photographs of the damage and packaging, and retain all packaging for inspection. We cannot accept any damage claim if goods were signed for without being inspected, signed as “good condition”, or if the claim is made more than 24 hours after delivery. Goods signed for without notes are deemed accepted in satisfactory condition.

7.4 Goods Moved After Delivery
Once goods have been moved, stored, transported again, cut, altered or installed, we cannot accept any damage claim because we cannot determine when the damage occurred.

7.5 Safe Place Delivery
No damage claims will be accepted for goods left in a safe place at your request.

8. Risk & Ownership
Risk transfers to you once goods are delivered or left as instructed. Ownership transfers once payment is received in full.

9. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

9.1 Consumer Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day after you receive the goods. To exercise this right, email support@clad-x.co.uk. You do not need to provide a reason. This right does not apply to goods that have been cut, installed, altered, handled beyond necessary inspection, returned damaged, or bespoke/made-to-order products.

9.2 Condition of Returned Goods
Returned goods must be unused, undamaged, in original condition and packaging. A deduction may be made for damage or missing packaging. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

9.3 Refunds
We will refund within 14 days of receiving returned goods or receiving cancellation notice (if goods have not yet been dispatched). Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

9.4 Business/Trade Customers
Trade customers do not receive statutory consumer cancellation rights. Returns from business customers are accepted at our discretion and may incur restocking fees.

11. Installation Responsibilities
We do not provide installation services. We are not responsible for installation errors, compatibility issues, incorrect fitting, damage caused during installation, or project delays. Customers must ensure installers follow manufacturer instructions.
